Health Enhancement Program (HEP) Update


If you are a state employee and participate in the Health Enhancement Program (HEP), you have until the end of the calendar year to complete any necessary requirements.

The Comptroller’s Office has a special website to check your HEP compliance status. By now you should have created your own personal account at www.cthep.com. (If you’re logging on to the system for the first time after April 1, 2013, you will need to create a new account.) Each individual on your plan (spouse and any eligible dependents age 18 or over) should create their own account to monitor their status.

Beginning Dec 2, the HEP Call Center hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday thru Friday at 877-687-1448.

Council 4 members who encounter any difficulties with the state’s HEP website (e.g., system response time or availability) should contact their union reps immediately or e-mail us at Council 4 so we can help resolve the issue through the Comptroller’s Office.
