Connecticut State Supreme Court (Front Steps)
231 Capitol Ave.
Hartford, CT
Join the CT Chapter of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists and many other organizations and individuals to mark the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dr. King was murdered on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, where he had come to help striking sanitiation workers who were members of AFSCME Local 1733. His legacy, which includes his passionate support for labor unions and his opposition to Right To Work, lives on, and is ever more relevant today.
