Council 4 is joining our labor partners to co-host a virtual roundtable featuring the Education Department Commissioner Charlene Russell-Tucker and lawmakers on the legislature's Education Committee that you won't want to miss.

Since state lawmakers will be in attendance, the roundtable is also an opportunity to advocate for a proposed new law, HB 5321, that would invest in recruiting and retaining paras. Being there to tell your personal story is what will help move legislators to act on this important initiative before the General Assembly adjourns in early May.
