What: Jobs Fair will feature employers from multiple state agencies across Connecticut, like Connecticut State Lottery, Department of Children and Families, Department of Correction, and even jobs with the City of Hartford and Hartford Public Schools. Join us to learn more about public service job openings in your community! 

When: 11 AM - 2 PM on September 6, 2023. 

Where: Hartford Yard Goats Club on 1214 Main St, Hartford.

Why: States, cities, towns and schools face a staffing crisis. Hiring for public service jobs has failed to keep pace with the private sector. In response, AFSCME is kicking off a national bus tour this summer to recruit talented, diverse and dedicated people to staff the front lines. The bus will make stops in more than 20 communities, including Hartford on September 6.
