We are involved with an organizing drive in North Stonington with and for the bus drivers of the North Stonington yard. Services are contracted out to M & J Bus Inc.

Catrina Altman, one of the key leaders, was terminated the morning of our union meeting. For over ten years, Catrina has provided a valuable service for the students, parents, district and M & J. She is a woman who performed her job with dignity, care and compassion every day for ten years. No prior disciplines! A second leader has been targeted and has received a two-day suspension.

We are organizing two events for next week and need your help!

Event #1: Mass Morning Leafleting, 8:15 a.m.
Our goal is to have two people per yard at the M&J bus yard locations listed above.

Event #2: North Stonington Board of Education Meeting, 6:15 p.m.
