Starting in September, Council 4 is hosting a full range of Fall trainings that will provide the skills and tools to local leaders for building stronger unions.
Here is an overview of workshop topics offered this Fall:
- October 1st New Laws That the Employer Must Follow
- Officers Training
- Treasurers' Training
- New Employee Member Orientation
- Stewards Training ***This is a four-part series that covers Roles & Responsibilities of Officers/Stewards, Five Steps of Grievance Handling, Documenting and Writing a Grievance, and Moving Workers to Action. You must register for all 4 sessions in a class.
- Class 1 sessions are October 5, 12, 19, 26, 6 – 8 PM
- Class 2 sessions are November 6, 13, 20, and December 4, 9 – 11 AM

- Saturday, October 23, 9:30 - 11:30 AM
- Wednesday, October 27, 5:30 - 7:30 PM
