The Connecticut General Assembly convened on January 8 for the start of the legislative session that concludes June 4.
Council 4's legislative priorities, informed by discussions with Council 4 leaders and members, reflect a commitment to four main areas:
- Protecting Collective Bargaining and Workers' Rights
- Strengthening Public Education At All Levels
- Supporting Fair Budgets and a Healthy Economy
- Stopping Corrupt Privatization While Improving Accountability
May 14 - *SAVE THE DATE* Council 4 will host our annual Lobby Day on May 14!
During Lobby Day, members will advocate for worker-friendly bills with their legislators at the State Capitol. Lobby Day is an excellent opportunity for members to make their voices heard!
