Local 1303 Scholarships Available for 2019

AFSCME Local 1303, representing municipal employees throught Connecticut, will be award $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors planning to attend college in the fall of 2019. 

Eligible applicants must:

  • BE A GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR,
  • HAVE A PARENT WHO IS A DUES PAYING MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING WITH AFSCME LOCAL 1303,
  • BE ENROLLED IN AN ACCREDITED UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OR TECHNICAL SCHOOL FOR THE FALL 2019 SEMESTER,
  • MUST HAVE (2) SIGNED LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION FROM PERSONS NOT RELATED TO THE APPLICANT.

The application deadline is April 19, 2019.
