Last year the coalition of labor unions representing public school paraeducators, including AFSCME Council 4, succeeded in winning health care subsides for paras to reduce out-of-pocket-health care costs. This year we are building off that momentum to achieve living wages, stronger retirement security and job standards for paraeducators.
