Govenor Lamont Signed HB 5003 Into Law, Marking Significant Progress for Connecticut Workers

Today marks a major win for Connecticut workers. Gov. Ned Lamont officially signed HB 5003 — the omnibus labor bill, An Act Concerning Workforce Development and Working Conditions in the State — into law. This legislation contains several Council 4 priorities that will support and protect members. 

Labor leaders, advocates, and AFSCME Council 4 leadership joined the Governor for the historic signing ceremony, celebrating legislation that strengthens worker protections and reflects the power of collective advocacy across Connecticut!
